Forester/Forest Technologist Positions

Bushmen Enterprises Ltd. is accepting resumes for the following:

2 Forester/Forest Technologist positions (late April 2016 thru late October 2016, with the possibility of extension or suitable to students schedule)

Reporting to the Senior Forester/Tech, the candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all aspects of our contracts. This includes ensuring the successful implementation of various contracts, fieldwork, daily campmaintenance, field equipment inventories, paperwork and various other duties.

The positions could involve:

• Treeplanting Supervision
• Various Silviculture Surveys
• Herbicide Bagging & Aerial Herbicide Monitoring
• PSP measurements
• Block layout

Wage: Commensurate with education and experience (above average compensation)

Expect to be working outdoors in all types of weather. We typically work 10 days on and 4 days off but are typically veryflexible with schedules. You must feel comfortable in the bush and willing to work a short distance from your partner. Wesupply all specialized equipment, accommodations and food when in the field. NO camp costs!

We have a culture of ensuring minimum down time. This is achieved thru our safety program and the fact that all our equipment is either brand new or less than 3 years old.

You must have a clean driver’s license and valid First Aid certificate. Basic GPS knowledge and MS office skills would bean asset.
