Alberta Wildfire: Air Operations Dispatcher

Job Classification: Administrative Support 4

Salary Range: $22.26 – $27.19 per hour

Length of employment: As needed by the department, but generally April to September

A Wildfire Air Operations Dispatcher works closely with the Provincial Aircraft Coordinator to process provincial, national, and international requests for rotary and fixed wing aircraft. In addition, they work with the 10 Areas to respond to airtanker requests, hire and release aircraft, complete data entry in an accurate manner, and gather information for statistical purposes.
