4TH CLASS POWER ENGINEER

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Conducting regular checks on the Energy Plant to ensure system operation requirements are met.
  • Operate Loader to ensure consistent hog fuel supply to Energy Plant.
  • Monitor Dry Kiln operations and system requirements.
  • Operate Forklift for the purpose of loading and unloading kilns, performing kiln changes along other duties as needed.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid fourth class power engineering designation including firing time.
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Desire to progress, learn, grow, and succeed.
  • Physical ability to work 12-hour shifts.
